Our story starts in 2000 when Cliff Myburgh and son Neil Myburgh partnered to create Onyx Press

Onyx Press started as a small family owned and run business situated in Stewart Street, Goodwood. Employing only 4 staff and consisting of two single colour press, a cylinder die cutting machine, a small format folding machine and guillotine. From day one Onyx Press has committed to at all times maintain the utmost levels of service for our customers and strives to place itself at the forefront of Print within the Printing Industry. Through this driving factor and commitment to excellence, Onyx Press has grown and evolved into a key Printer within the Industry in Cape Town.

Over the past few years Onyx Press experienced a growth in both reputation and business and this resulted into an expansion drive which saw Onyx Press purchasing and relocating to a new 1700m2 plant in Kensington. 2013 also saw the introduction of a A1 Press to the business which has since created even more flexibility, competitiveness and opportunities for our customers.

Onyx has grown from strength to strength and has earned a reputation as a competitive high quality Commercial Printer within the Industry employing a staff compliment of  over 40.

Testament to this is the loyalty we have earned by having long standing clients and staff who have committed to Onyx Press from those humble beginnings through to today.
